We are looking for a founding product designer for our team based in San Francisco. In addition to supporting our core product development, the product designer will work closely with our product discovery team. This team is responsible for (a) conducting user research to discover key problems faced by nonprofits followed by (b) rapidly prototyping and iterating on potential solutions, with the goal of figuring out “what works”, and is worth productionizing. The role reports to the Head of Product.
Need to haves:
- Proficiency with Figma
- A strong portfolio of your past work
- Experience working within a pod with product and engineering teammates
- Experience working with and creating design systems
- Experience with rapid prototyping
- Desire and ability to participate in customer-facing research
- Demonstrable track record of having built stuff (personal/non-tech projects welcome)
Nice to haves:
- Experience working in/knowledge of the fundraising and non-profit sector
- Experience working at a startup
