In order to deliver highly accurate predictions of donor behaviour, we have amassed an enormous database of fundraising data.
We’re looking for a seriously talented person to deeply analyse this data to produce high quality insights for our customers, community and internal users.
These insights will have a profound impact on how not-for-profit organisations worldwide make investments in their fundraising activities.
In This Role, You’ll Get To
- Work with a rich, complex dataset consisting of over 100M individuals, 300M transactions and 1B communications.
- Investigate novel, open-ended questions and be the first person to observe new patterns and trends in a field which receives and allocates billions of dollars each year.
- Work with cutting edge tools such as AWS Athena, Postgres, DuckDB & Pandas.
- Have a direct impact on the business decisions made at world-leading charities.
- Build analyses which guide product development and improve user experience.
On The First Day, We’ll Expect You To Have
- Extremely strong SQL query skills
- Strong Python (Pandas) skills
- Experience with SQL databases
- Proven track record of delivering accurate and useful analyses.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
It’s Great, But Not Required, If You Have Experience With
- The fundraising and non-profit sector.
- Data visualisation (MatPlotLib, seaborn, D3, etc,..)
- AWS (Athena, S3).
- Git, CI/CD pipelines.
