This privacy collection notice from Dataro Ops Pty Ltd (ACN 623 149 s173) (Australia) and our related bodies corporate (‘Dataro’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) outlines what personal information we collect about you on behalf of our clients through our AI-powered research tool ProspectAI (Prospect AI), why and how we collect this personal information and who we share it with.
Dataro only collects personal information about you using Prospect AI at the request and on behalf of our nonprofit and other clients.
If our client submits a request about you through Prospect AI, Dataro collects your full name, address, employer, date of birth, linked profile URL and other personal information provided by our client. We collect, on behalf of this client, other personal information about you available from public and online sources (such as online registers, web search results, and social media platforms) using Prospect AI. The types of personal information collected includes biographical details, giving history, contact information, associations and a series of fit scores. ProspectAI also generates recommendations such as conversation starters and ratings.
Occasionally, we collect personal information from third parties such as commercial data providers who hold your consent to disclose your personal information to us or who otherwise disclose your personal information to us in circumstances where it is lawful to do so. Personal information will not intentionally be collected from any person who we know to be under the age of sixteen (16) without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We collect this personal information about you on behalf of our client to enable our client to create an individual donor profile and engage with you more efficiently and relevantly, and to provide our services to our client. For example, our client may use the collected personal information to send you direct marketing communications about a fundraising campaign or other information that our client considers may be of interest to you.
We disclose the personal information we collect on behalf of our Prospect AI client to that client. We may also share personal information we hold about you with our related bodies corporate and third party service providers we use in connection with Prospect AI.
Our Privacy Policy contains further information about how we will handle your personal information and how you can access and correct your personal information. It also outlines how you can lodge a complaint regarding the handling of your personal information and how any complaint will be handled by Dataro.
